Only One Life to Live!
By Timothy BrownObject: Empty Ink-Jet Printer Ink Cartridge

Scripture: Galatians 2:20
Lesson:
-
(Show the empty cartridge) This ink cartridge came from my printer. When I bought it, it was full of black ink, but as I created documents on my computer and printed them, ink was used out of the cartridge.
-
Once the ink is used, you can't put it back in the cartridge. Therefore I'm careful not to waste the ink because this cartridge costs money.
-
You and I are kind of like this cartridge. Let's let it represent our bodies and the ink inside the life that God gives us.
-
God gives us one life to live. Each day we use 24 hours of that time.
-
How careful are you with the life that God has given you?
-
God gives you a choice in how you live your life. You can choose to live your life your way and not worry about what God wants OR You can choose what God wants and live in obedience to Him.
-
What happens when this cartridge gets empty? It's thrown out or it is recycled.
-
At the end of your life, you'll either go to Heaven with God, or be separated (kept apart) from Him forever.
-
If you choose to follow your way, you'll wind up separated from God forever.
-
If you follow God's plan you'll go to Heaven when you die. (Share the gospel...)
-
If Jesus is your Savior, will you choose to live your life for Him? Galatians 2:20 says ... (read verse). If you choose to live the way God wants you to, that will be the best life you can live. Then when you get to Heaven, you'll hear God say "Well done, good and faithful servant."
-
When you choose to obey God make sure you do it because you really love God then He will also help you to show His love to others.
