I'd like you to think a moment about a  friend who doesn’t know Jesus as their Savior? (Show clothespin.) Let’s let this clothespin represent that person. 

(Show picture strip and place the clothespin next to the gold arrow.) This card shows what they need to know to have their sins forgiven and be able to go to Heaven some day. So, I’m going to see if you can tell me what they need to know about each part.

Slide the clothespin over the gold arrow and have the children tell you what they should tell their friend about God. (He is the Creator, lives in Heaven, he loves you, he is perfect…)

Slide the clothespin over the dark heart and have the children tell you what they should tell their friend about sin. (All have sinned, sin is anything you think, say or do that doesn’t please God, give some examples of sins children commit, the punishment for sin is to be separated from God forever, we were born with a sin nature.)

Slide the clothespin over the cross and have the children tell you what they should tell their friend about the Lord Jesus. (He is God, the Son, he lived a perfect life here on earth, he died on a cross to pay for your sin, three days later he came alive again.)

Slide the clothespin over the clean heart and have the children tell you what they should tell their friend about believing on the Lord Jesus. (They need to admit to God that they’ve sinned, believe that Jesus died and rose again for them and Choose to ask Jesus to be their Savior to take away their sin.)

Then finish up with the green tree which represents growing as a Christian (Read and obey the Bible, pray, go to S.S. and church, tell others about the Lord Jesus.)
